Pilates Apparatus – Class Descriptions
Pilates Apparatus training dramatically transforms the way your body looks, feels and performs. It builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sculpted, sleek physique. Pilates also improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion. It can even help alleviate back pain. Experience the Reformers, Exo Chairs, Barrels in a one-on-one session, or share with a friend, or join a group.
The following classes are open to both members and non-members.
Yoga on the Reformer:
Experience, enhance, and ease into yoga poses and vinyasa sequences utilizing resistance for assistance and challenge on the Pilates Apparatus. Improve your stretches and balances via a dynamic flexibility mind-body practice. (55 mins)
Beginner’s Beach Body:
Get ready for summer and get acquainted with basic yet challenging work on the Reformer and Pilates machines! (55 mins)
Long and Lean Pilates:
Extend yourself past the barbell! This Pilates reformer/chair class you will emphasize muscle development without bulk. Long and Lean will give you the strength of an athlete with the grace of a dancer & all your friends will want to know your secret!
Buns and Guns Pilates:
A quick-paced workout dedicated to build strong lean muscles focusing on core strength while toning arms, legs and “buns” with the assistance of the Pilates Apparatus. (30 mins)
Just for Men Pilates:
A high-power workout dedicated to build strong lean muscles from the inside out, focusing on core strength, agility, balance and flexibility with the assistance of the Pilates Apparatus. (55 mins)
Pilates Sculpt Class:
An advanced beginner/Intermediate Class aimed at a genera work-out that will sculpt the entire body. (55 mins)
Intense quick-paced, body sculpting, calorie-burning class perfect for that mid-day energy boost. (45 mins)
